Fragile Longing by Cora Reilly

CORA!!! MY HEART!!

From the moment Sofia and Danilo were paired together, I knew this book was going to destroy me. But what I didn't expect was how much damage Sofia did to herself. Cora expressed how much self-love is important with Sofia's character and I about cried my heart out for the girl. All her life she was pushed to the side of her family because of the shadow she lived by her older sister. Even though this book can be read as a standalone, I did recommend you to read Twisted Pride.

Danilo, the young Underboss of Indianapolis is a dangerous enigma to the world, who carefully conceals his soft heart and gentle manner. There are many layers to him and once they unveil it is difficult to hold resentment towards his behavior. Just like every other made man, Danilo has to hide his true nature from the world. In public, he is cold and angry but behind closed doors, he is gentle and kind to those close to him.

BTW, I did not expect Danilo to be the way he was in the sheets...WOW! Sofia is one lucky young lady and Danilo is one lucky stud.

Some characters from the previous book due make cameos in her but you also get introduced to upcoming characters who (fingers crossed!) may have a book coming in the near future!

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book just like any book by this amazing writer. Danilo and Sofia's story was magnificent and enjoyable from page one to the last. This book is filled with hurt, comedy, angst, and overall romance!

Cora really is amazing!

Stories of September by Numerous Authors

Stories of September by Fiona Cole
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This review is going to be different than the ones I have done before since it's so many stories in one book!

This book contains stories from numerous genres from Dark Romance, Forbidden, MM, Taboo, and more! I am a fan of three of these authors but I was introduced to the other and I can say, I am honestly going to dive into their work after reading these short stories by them. I won't say my favorite story since I am very biased to that specific author (if you've read my previous reviews you would know!) This book is such a good series of short stories to read in one sitting or if you want to read one story from day to day.

These authors did an amazing job with this anthology and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Evil Love by Ella Fields

Evil Love by Ella Fields
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This woman NEVER disappoints when it comes to angst and romance! I'm always wondering if could beat the previous book but she always hits it out of the ballpark.

Jude is definitely up there with Callum when it comes to A-Holes! I was ready to kick and punch him in the first half of this book! But the way he turned himself around proved once again that Ella knows how to make you fall in love with all her characters. Jude starts off never noticing Fern, he even has a girlfriend since middle school, but one day Fren hears a loud fight from her window that ends with a breakup.

Fern, my baby! I loved every inch of that girl! I just wanted to hug her and tell her everything was going to be okay after everything she went through! She is up there with my favorite characters alongside Renee and Daphne. One thing I loved about her was that she was able to stand up for herself by making Jude go through it after he broke her heart so many times.

Overall, Ella Fields once again proves why she is my favorite author in the romance genre. I always end up crying, scream, or laughing after reading one of her books. She is one of a kind and just ana amazing storyteller. I cannot wait to read more books out of this world and am going to sit as patient as I can!
